Orinoco started as a catering business called “Constantia Cuisine” back in 2008. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, it was soon transformed into a well-known restaurant in Cape Town. Now, Orinoco is in Johannesburg satisfying even the most demanding foodies.

Since 2008, we’ve delighted our customers with delicious and authentic food. We pride ourselves on pleasing the most diverse and picky palates, and our customers keep coming back for more.

MEET THE CHEF

Migdalia, born in Venezuela, has been passionate about food her whole life. Her passion and drive have taken her to a level of appreciation of South American food to the extent of taking a 2-month sabbatical around South America by herself to be exposed to the real South American cuisine staying with the locals.

 

She has taken her passion and developed it into the food that you can experience. Her energy, love for people and culture will take you into a real South American food journey. For this reason, she has created Orinoco Flavours, so you can have a piece of South America in South Africa.
